Sporadic blogging

I am the most sporadic blogger ever. I always think of things to blog about when I am nowhere near a computer, and then I can never remember those things when I get a minute to blog!

My son David concluded his basketball season yesterday. It was a great season for him. His game definitely improved--in fact, the entire team experienced a learning curve this year. The boys got a new coach (one of the dads who actually played college ball), and he made a huge difference in the boys' attitudes and passion for the game. Thanks, Coach Mark!

My behavior at the games improved dramatically this year, as well! LOL. I am learning to keep my mouth shut! It's easier watching David's games than it was Danya's. When girls play ball, their game seems to move a little more slowly. I can follow it more easily, and I catch all the personal stuff that is going on between the teams. So, in the past, it was all too easy to get caught up in the drama. (With girls, there is always drama.) When David plays, the game moves really fast, and I don't catch everything! And with boys, they are just playing ball. They are not competitive in a catty way like girls can sometimes be. They are just playing. So I managed to only have to apologize once this season!!! yay!

Be sure to check out my website for my speaking dates this year. We are getting really excited about the upcoming Girls of Integrity conference, which is a mere three weeks away in Evansville, IN!

Hey.....I read your post on your website and I will be praying (if I can remember that is, I always have trouble remembering to pray!)And I need to pray for quite a few people right now. Yesterday was our last volleyball practice. And today or maybe tomorrow is our last game, if we win this game today, we'll go to the game tomorrow, today's game is over, and everything outside is really icey so we didn't go. I don't know if we're going tomorrow or not. It's usually hard for me to know WHAT to blog about. Well bye (sorry this comment is so long).

Hi Kelsey,

I heard about all the snow and ice you guys have had! We haven't had a decent snow all winter, and I would have really liked just one!

Thanks for your prayers. We'll see you in a couple of weeks!
